Today marks the beginning of a new journey for me, I am committed to begin a dialog regarding Masonic Education and personal development. But as we are taught early in our Masonic journey, as masons we should never begin any great undertaking, before seeking the blessing of our Creator.
So here I am asking that God blesses my every step and guides me in achieving positive things through these writings. I hope to become deeply involved in the research, writing and sharing of Masonic education. No secrets will be revealed, but hopefully lessons can be unveiled with every step we take up the Winding Stairs.
The Winding Stairs are meant to be a continuous journey to a higher place; a place of Light and understanding. Where tolerance and balance are brought to each individual by virtue of enlightenment.
Join me today in this journey, let's start the dialog and explore the time-tested lessons of freemasonry and thereby improve ourselves. When we joined this fraternity it was, among other reasons, to become better men and the only means of doing this is by increasing our knowledge and our compassion towards others. Our duty to ourselves and our families aught to be to become the best version of ourselves possible. This can be achieved through the persistent growth brought by learning and doing. Steadfast in our progress, acquiring new experiences and sharing it with upcoming generations. This all sounds great, but the first step in this ambitious journey is to ask the G:.A:.O:.T:.U:. to impart his blessings upon us.
"Lord, as we embark together in this journey of Light, bless our every step and instill in us a burning desire to be of service to mankind; an unwavering determination to become better men; thereby contributing a fair amount to the progress of humanity. We thank you and trust that you will hear our prayer. In your Most Holy Name we pray...Amen"
