Unlocking Origins pays homage to The Green Dragon Tavern in Boston. Some describe this meeting place as the headquarters of The American Revolution, for it is believed that it is where the Boston Tea Party was organized. The upper floor of the original tavern held the Lodge of Saint Andrews which eventually because the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts. Of many Masons that frequented the tavern, was Paul Revere. Paul Revere, in addition to being a crucial character in the American Revolution, went on to become the Grand Master of Massachusetts in 1794.

This design was inspired by both the original tavern sign which featured a dragon and the signage that adorns the modern reincarnation of The Green Dragon Tavern in Boston, Massachusetts.

This collection was created on the pages of the book titled “A Library of Freemasonry Illustrated”. The book was in such poor condition but held such valuable information in it that I thought I could do something different to preserve it.
